    Good, basic headlight = what I wanted

    Not blindingly bright (hate that) replacement for Cateye headlight (battery) I had for 12 years (lost, sadly) with same operation: on/flash/off. Not sure if rechargeable is more virtuous than battery powered but so be it — because least powerful battery-powered Cateye headlight appears to be much brighter, although the comparison is not immediate since one product is listed in terms of lumens, the other in terms of candle power. Also I had a little miscommunication with company about the compatibility of the headlight and the (not compatible) helmet mount for other lights. All the same, I am using and like this light: simple and basic operation and not ridiculously bright (hello you in the park with klieg lights on your rides!!!!)
