Limited Warranty

CatEye products are warranted to be free of defects from materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of the original purchase. If the product fails to work due to normal use, CatEye America will repair or replace the defective product at no charge. (Accessories and deterioration of the battery are excluded). Service must be performed by CatEye America or an authorized retailer. To return the product, contact CatEye America at 1-800-522-8393 or email service@cateye.com to have a warranty case issued. Clearly write the issued case number on the outside of the return packaging. Insurance, handling and transportation charges to CatEye shall be borne by the person desiring service.

Return Policy

Returns: (Consumers)

It is the responsibility of the consumer to determine suitability of the product prior to purchase. Please contact us prior to purchase and we can advise you which of our products will best suit your needs. If you need to return a product, please see our return guidelines listed below.

Unused products may be returned within 60 days of purchase for a refund or exchange, minus any applicable shipping charges. Refunds can only be processed for products purchased directly from Cateye America. Products can only be exchanged for an equivalently priced item of equal dollar amount. The product must be unused in the original retail packaging and all boxes, packaging materials, accessories, and manuals must be in new, re-sellable condition.

All requests for refund or exchange must be issued a return authorization case number prior to returning the product. Please give us a call at our toll-free number 1.800.522-8393 or email service@cateye.com to have a return authorization case number issued on your behalf. Return requests shipped without an RA case number will require confirmation and can significantly delay the return process.

Please allow 7-10 days for refunds from credit card purchases to post to your account.

Write the return authorization case number on the outside of the package and be sure to ship in a carton that protects the original item box or package and ship the item to:

Original shipping charges are not refunded unless the return is a result of our error. If you have ordered correctly and we have shipped the wrong item, we will pay to return the item to Cateye America or we will issue an electronic call tag to have the item returned at our expense.

Please report any missing or damaged items promptly after receipt of the product.

No returns accepted after 60 days from date of invoice. 15% restock charge on all acceptable returns in new and resalable condition in clean original packaging. Product returned at dealer’s expense. RA# issued by our customer service department.

Freight Policy: (Dealers)

Freight allowed on orders of $250 or more. (AK and HI on orders of $500 or more.) Freight is prepaid and billed on open accounts and deductible for on-time payment. No minimum order requirements.
